Blending Qualitative Insights with Design Thinking for Comprehensive Research Solutions
The approach at BCS combines strength of traditional qualitative research which is open ended questions aimed at demystifying unknown territories of human behaviour (exploratory interviews, focus group discussions, flexible ethnography) with design thinking lens focussed on solving specific problems (process-oriented, iterative & human-centric). We leverage design thinking to omit the sense of ambiguity on qualitative projects so that everyone can visualize the process, provide iterative roadmaps for our clients for them to be confident about the end outcomes and restage focus back from the cultural landscapes to the user who will use the product or service ultimately.
To make it robust & apply to larger patterns we also employ quantitative methods to draw conclusions and pair it with qualitative findings to give a complete picture of substance & quantity.
