Estimate the impact assessment of vocational courses offered by our client’s paint academy as part of their CSR initiative for painters & contractors’ community.
The Challenge
The impact assessment were measured in a pre-decided metrics factoring in the influence made on the community across 11 states of the country at the functional, emotional, social and intra levels. The survey was an important exercise for client to understand the relevance of their large-scale programmers and determine the ways to improve them for next level.
The Approach
The nature of the study commanded a mix of quantitative (Structured telephonic interviews – 110) considering the fairly large numbers and qualitative (cued depth interviews55) to qualify the data with motivations & gaps that still exist in the system. One of the concerns was to be able to reach them to talk as many were working during most days.
The Impact
Nearly 8 out of 10 were willing to recommend the course to others wherein learning new techniques & designs were the prime reasons for recommendation. They felt “kamyaabi” with increased income (increased flow of work), standard of living (could now afford nutritious food for family), social status (fame in work community) and being able to provide better customer service (use of rollers instead of brush).
